In Plain English
If a part we sold fails within the warranty window, we’ll replace the part—once the original is returned and verified. We’re not responsible for labor, travel, downtime, or any other costs tied to swapping the part.
1. Limited Parts Warranty
Tek Guy On Demand, LLC provides a limited parts-only warranty on eligible parts sold directly by us. Unless otherwise stated in writing, parts are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for up to one (1) year from the original invoice date.
Coverage applies only to the replacement of the defective part itself.
2. RMA & Replacement Process
If a part fails within the warranty period, the following process must be followed:
- Initiate an RMA using Tek Guy On Demand’s official Return Form
- Return the defective part to Tek Guy On Demand for inspection
- Replacement parts are issued only after the original part is received and confirmed defective
- Advance replacements are not guaranteed unless approved in writing
3. Labor & Service Exclusion (Important)
This warranty does not cover and Tek Guy On Demand assumes no responsibility for:
- Labor to remove or install the part
- Travel time, trip charges, dispatch fees, or service calls
- Diagnostic time or troubleshooting
- Downtime, loss of use, loss of business, or loss of revenue
- Third-party service or labor performed by others
4. Damage & Consequential Loss Disclaimer
Tek Guy On Demand is not liable for:
- Damage caused by a failed or defective part
- Damage to equipment, peripherals, networks, or property
- Data loss, corruption, or recovery costs
- Improper installation, misuse, electrical issues, environmental conditions, or incompatible equipment
5. Shipping & Handling
- Customers are responsible for shipping the defective part back unless otherwise stated in writing
- Replacement shipping costs may apply
- Expedited shipping is available at additional cost
6. Warranty Void Conditions
This warranty is void if the part has been:
- Modified, repaired, or altered
- Installed incorrectly or outside manufacturer specifications
- Damaged by power issues, environmental conditions, misuse, or negligence
- Installed by an unauthorized third party
7. No Other Warranties
This policy replaces all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Agreement & Acceptance
By purchasing parts from Tek Guy On Demand, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Parts Warranty & RMA Policy and understands that parts warranties do not include labor or service coverage unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.
9. How to Start an RMA
- Visit the Return Form page
- Complete all required fields (part number, invoice number, issue description)
- Await RMA instructions and return authorization
