1 Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the “No Fix. No Fee” guarantee, the following must be true:
- The issue is clearly identified and documented by a Tek Guy technician.
- Tek Guy On Demand provides and installs all necessary parts for the repair.
- The customer approves recommended repairs and parts before service begins.

Customer-Supplied Parts Disclaimer:
When a customer provides their own parts, Tek Guy On Demand cannot guarantee repair success. In such cases, all diagnostic and labor fees remain billable, regardless of outcome.
3 Situations Not Covered Under “No Fix. No Fee”
The guarantee does not apply if:
- The customer declines a recommended repair or replacement part.
- The problem is intermittent/unverifiable at the time of service.
- The device is damaged beyond economical repair (ex: liquid damage, misuse).
- Incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information was provided by the customer.
- Access to the device is denied or the scheduled appointment is missed.
4 Customer Responsibility
By requesting one-time or on-demand service, the customer acknowledges that Tek Guy On Demand is providing service without full history or contract oversight. Customer accepts the risk that diagnosis or repair attempts may be limited by information, cooperation, or parts availability.
5 Diagnostic & Trip Fees
A standard diagnostic or travel fee may still apply, even if no fix is made, to cover technician time, travel, and assessment. This fee may be waived at Tek Guy’s discretion for repeat clients or active contracts.
6 Fair Use & Abuse Protection
Tek Guy On Demand reserves the right to deny “No Fix. No Fee” coverage in cases of repeated misuse, fraudulent claims, or customer interference with technician recommendations.
7 Warranty on Completed Repairs (Optional Add-On)
Repairs completed with Tek Guy–supplied parts may include a limited warranty on parts and labor, as specified in the repair invoice or agreement.
8 On-Demand, Non-Contract Customers
On-Demand Service Limitation (Non-Contract Customers)
Tek Guy On Demand provides diagnostic and repair services on a best-effort basis for customers without an active service contract. Due to limited history and unknown prior conditions of the device, all findings, recommendations, and diagnostic conclusions are considered preliminary and non-guaranteed.If parts are not purchased through Tek Guy On Demand, or if the customer supplies their own parts, all labor, diagnostic, and trip fees remain fully billable regardless of outcome, accuracy, or resolution.
Tek Guy On Demand is not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage or hidden failures not evident during initial inspection
- Diagnoses affected by user modifications, third-party repairs, or missing components
- Intermittent issues that do not present during service
The “No Fix. No Fee.” guarantee does not apply to on-demand customers supplying their own parts or declining recommended parts or repairs. In such cases, all fees are final and non-refundable.

🔧 Parts & Materials Policy (Summary)
Tek Guy On Demand uses OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) toner, drums, fusers, and replacement parts by default to ensure top quality and reliability. If OEM is discontinued/unavailable, we may substitute certified new or equivalent parts that meet or exceed OEM specs. All installed parts carry a one-year warranty from installation and are covered under our No Fix, No Fee policy when used under normal operation. Consumables and user-caused damage are excluded.
