📜 Tek Guy On Demand — Extended Laptop Hardware Warranty Agreement

This warranty does not cover:

• Accidental damage (liquid spills, drops, cracks, cosmetic damage)
• Loss or theft
• Power Surges
• Software issues, virus removal, or OS restoration
• Consumables (external chargers, batteries unless add-on is purchased, external peripherals)
• Repairs performed by unauthorized service providers

a) Accidental Damage Protection

• Available for eligible laptops under an active Extended Warranty. Covers drops, spills, cracked screens, and similar unintentional physical damage during normal use.
• Excludes:
  • Cosmetic damage that doesn’t affect function
  • Loss or theft
  • Power surges
  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, intentional acts, unauthorized repairs/mods, or operation outside manufacturer conditions
  • Natural disasters, fire, acts of God
• Repair or Replacement: At Tek Guy’s sole discretion; replacements may be new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent.
• Deductible: $100.00 per accidental claim.
• Claim Limits: Max two (2) claims per term; fees disclosed at purchase.
• Eligibility: Device must be enrolled at activation/renewal and be fully operational and undamaged at enrollment.
• Limitations: Service may be denied if damage is inconsistent with accidental events or if limits are exceeded; location limits may apply.

b) Battery Replacement Guarantee

• Covers the installed battery for 12 months against defects. If capacity falls below 80% under normal use within 12 months, Tek Guy replaces it (parts + labor). Excludes misuse, physical damage, unauthorized repair, or environmental damage. Requires proof of purchase and inspection by an authorized Tek Guy technician.

c) On-Site Service

• Scheduling: Based on tech availability and service area; same/next-day may be possible but not guaranteed.
• Service Scope: Diagnostic/repair labor per plan. Parts/consumables may be additional unless explicitly included.
• Eligibility: Not all issues, products, or locations qualify; determined at request time.
• Limitations: May be deferred/declined due to safety, inaccessibility, severe weather, disasters, or government restrictions.
• Fees: Vary by location/product/complexity; disclosed prior to dispatch.

Coverage fees are based on the retail purchase price of the covered laptop:

To initiate a claim:

1. Use our Mail-in Laptop Form by Clicking Here. Submit and follow the email instructions.
2. Provide proof of warranty purchase and laptop serial number.
3. Contact Tek Guy On Demand at 877-267-9111 or support@tekguy.us.

Tek Guy On Demand’s total liability under this agreement is limited to:

• The reasonable market value of the covered laptop at the time of claim, or
• The cost of repairs, whichever is less.

Maximum of one (1) full replacement or up to two (2) component repairs during the coverage period.

Warranty coverage is non-transferable.

Pro-rated refunds available within 30 days of purchase if no claim has been made. After 30 days, no refunds will be issued.

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State Pennsylvania, United States of America.
