1. Warranty Coverage
This Extended Warranty Agreement covers hardware failures due to manufacturer defects or normal operational wear and tear for eligible laptops, based on the purchased warranty tier, for a period of one (1) year from the Effective Date.
Covered components include:
- Motherboard / Main Logic Board
- Internal Storage (SSD/HDD)
- Memory (RAM)
- Internal Display (excluding accidental or impact damage)
- Keyboard, Trackpad, and Internal Ports
- Internal Power Supply components
Labor and parts are included.
2. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage (liquid spills, drops, cracks, cosmetic damage)
- Loss or theft
- Power Surges
- Software-related issues, virus removal, or operating system restoration
- Consumables (external chargers, batteries unless add-on coverage is purchased, external peripherals)
- Repairs performed by unauthorized service providers
3. Optional Add-On Coverage(s) (if purchased separately):
a. Accidental Damage Protection:
- Accidental Damage Repair is an optional add-on service available for eligible laptop devices covered under an active Tek Guy On Demand Extended Warranty Plan. This service provides repair or replacement coverage for sudden, unforeseen, and unintentional physical damage that affects the operational functionality of the device.
- Coverage Scope: Accidental Damage Repair covers incidents such as drops, spills, cracked screens, and other unintentional physical damages that occur during normal, intended use of the device.
- Exclusions: This service does not cover:
- Cosmetic damage (including scratches, dents, or scuffs) that does not affect device operation.
- Loss or theft of the device.
- Power Surges
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, intentional acts, unauthorized repairs or modifications, or operating the device outside manufacturer-recommended conditions.
- Damage caused by natural disasters, fire, or acts of God.
- Repair or Replacement: Tek Guy On Demand reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether the device will be repaired or replaced. Replacement devices may be new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent units.
- A deductible of $100.00 applies to all accidental damage claims.
- Claim Limits: Accidental Damage Repair coverage is subject to a maximum of two (2) claims per coverage term. Each claim may be subject to a deductible or service fee, which will be disclosed to the customer at the time of plan purchase and prior to claim processing.
- Eligibility: Coverage is only available for laptops specifically enrolled in an Extended Warranty Plan with the Accidental Damage Repair add-on purchased at the time of warranty activation or renewal. Devices must be in fully operational and undamaged condition at the time of plan enrollment.
- Limitations: Tek Guy On Demand may deny service if damage is deemed inconsistent with accidental events or if claim limits have been exceeded. Service availability may vary by location, and additional fees may apply for onsite services if applicable.
b. Battery Replacement Guarantee:
- This guarantee covers the battery installed in your listed laptop against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. If the battery fails to hold a charge of at least 80% capacity during normal use within this period, Tek Guy On Demand will replace the battery at no cost to the customer, including parts and labor. This guarantee excludes failures due to misuse, physical damage, unauthorized repairs, or environmental damage. Claims require proof of purchase and device inspection by an authorized Tek Guy On Demand technician.
c. On-site Service:
- Scheduling: Onsite Service appointments are scheduled based on technician availability and geographic service area coverage. Same-day or next-day service may be available in certain locations, though not guaranteed.
- Service Scope: Onsite Service covers labor for diagnostic and repair services as outlined in the applicable service plan. Parts, consumables, and additional services may incur separate charges unless explicitly included in the customer’s service agreement.
- Eligibility: Not all products, issues, or locations qualify for Onsite Service. Tek Guy On Demand reserves the right to determine eligibility at the time of service request.
- Limitations: Service may be deferred, modified, or declined due to safety concerns, inaccessibility of the site, or factors outside of reasonable control (including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, or government restrictions).
- Fees and Coverage: Onsite Service fees may vary by location, product type, and service complexity. Customers will be advised of any applicable charges prior to dispatch confirmation.
4. Warranty Tiers and Pricing
Coverage fees are based on the retail purchase price of the covered laptop:

5. Claims Process
To initiate a claim:
- Use our Mail in Laptop Form by Clicking Here! Submit and follow the directions sent to your e-mail.
- Provide proof of warranty purchase and laptop serial number.

Repairs typically completed within 7-10 business days.
6. Limits of Liability
Tek Guy On Demand’s total liability under this agreement is limited to:
- The reasonable market value of the covered laptop at the time of claim, or
- The cost of repairs, whichever is less.
Maximum of one (1) full replacement or up to two (2) component repairs during the coverage period.
7. Termination and Refunds
Warranty coverage is non-transferable.
Pro-rated refunds available within 30 days of purchase if no claim has been made.
After 30 days, no refunds will be issued.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State Colorado, United States of America.
