🛡️1) Warranty Coverage›

This Extended Warranty Agreement covers hardware failures due to manufacturer defects or normal operational wear and tear for eligible laptops based on the purchased warranty tier for the selected 12- or 24-month term.

Covered components include:

Motherboard / Main Logic Board
Internal Storage (SSD/HDD)
Memory (RAM)
Internal Display, excluding accidental or impact damage
Keyboard, Trackpad, and Internal Ports
Internal Power Supply components

Good news: Parts and labor are included on approved covered repairs. Each approved claim carries a $49 deductible.

🚫2) Exclusions›

This warranty does not cover:

Accidental damage, drops, cracked screens, liquid damage, fire, theft, loss, abuse, misuse, pests, or cosmetic damage unless expressly covered by a separately purchased written add-on.
Power surges or environmental damage.
Software issues, malware, data recovery, data loss, OS restoration, or routine maintenance.
Pre-existing conditions or unauthorized repairs/modifications.
Consumables, accessories, and external chargers unless explicitly included.

➕3) Optional Add-On Coverage›

Battery Replacement Guarantee — $69 per warranty term

Covers one approved battery replacement during the warranty term, subject to the $49 claim deductible and parts availability. Normal capacity decline outside the written battery coverage terms is excluded.

Local On-Site Service — $149 per warranty term

Covers one local on-site visit for an approved covered claim. Outside-area travel and additional visits are separate.

Accidental damage / cracked screens: not included in the standard laptop warranty and require a separate repair quote.

📝5) Claims Process›

Submit a claim through TGOS or contact support@tekguyondemand.com.
Provide your warranty confirmation number and laptop serial number.
Do not ship the laptop until TGOD provides instructions.
The $49 deductible is due for each approved claim.

Typical turnaround: Repairs are typically completed within 7–10 business days after intake.

⚖️6) Limits of Liability›

Tek Guy On Demand’s total liability under this agreement is limited to the reasonable market value of the covered laptop at the time of claim or the cost of repairs, whichever is less. TGOD is not responsible for data loss, business interruption, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages to the extent permitted by law.

🧾7) Termination & Refunds›

Warranty coverage is non-transferable. Pro-rated refunds may be available within 30 days of purchase if no claim has been made. After 30 days, no refund is guaranteed.

🏛️8) Governing Law›

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, United States of America. These warranty terms supplement the general Terms of Service.
