Is the $149 survey applied to the installation?
Yes. When Tek Guy On Demand completes the installation, the $149 survey fee is credited toward the TGOD installation project.
How much is a standard Starlink installation?
TGOD’s $899 standard package includes the basic Starlink kit and the approved basic installation scope after the site survey. Starlink service-plan charges, travel, custom mounting, specialty access, complex cable routes and network migration are separate when required.
Is the basic Starlink kit included in the $899 price?
Yes. TGOD supplies the basic Starlink kit as part of the $899 standard package. You create and control your Starlink account and pay Starlink directly for the selected ongoing service plan.
Can you install Starlink on a roof, wall or pole?
Yes. We evaluate roof, wall, pole and compatible existing-mount options. The final recommendation depends on sky visibility, structure, access, wind exposure, cable routing and safety.
What happens if trees or buildings obstruct the view?
We compare practical mounting locations and explain the tradeoffs. If there is no reliable path forward, we will tell you before you invest in an unsuitable installation.
Can you improve Wi‑Fi after Starlink is installed?
Yes. TGOD can optimize router placement, add wired access points or mesh coverage, and improve connectivity in larger homes, metal buildings, offices, barns and detached spaces.
Can Starlink connect to my business router or firewall?
Yes. We can plan the WAN handoff and coordinate Starlink with an existing router, firewall, switches, VLANs, VoIP, POS, printers and cameras. Business-network migration is scoped separately.
